At HdK, we’ve always aimed to build long-term, trusting relationships with our clients. Part of that means being transparent and fair about how we manage our support package pricing.
Over the years, we’ve tied small inflationary price increases to the dates when individual clients first took out their support packages. This has worked in many cases, but it’s also led to a patchwork of different rates across our client base. Sometimes, clients have benefitted when we’ve overlooked an increase, which we’ve been happy to honour. However, it has occasionally caused confusion when we’ve had to correct these inconsistencies later on.
To make things clearer and more consistent for everyone, we’re moving all support packages onto the same pricing structure. This will allow us to:
- Give everyone much more advance notice of any changes.
- Keep future increases small, predictable and in line with inflation.
- Avoid unexpected adjustments further down the line.
Our plan is to align all support package prices from 1 April 2026, which is when many of our clients begin their new financial year. From January, we’ll let you know exactly what the updated rates will be so you can plan ahead in your budgets.
For many of you, this won’t mean any change at all — you’re already on our current rates. The only difference will be that you’ll have earlier notice of future price adjustments.
For others, we’ll be in touch directly to explain what the changes mean for you. And of course, if you have any questions or concerns, we’ll be more than happy to talk them through with you.
Our goal is to make sure any changes are clear, fair and expected — never a surprise.

Support Package Pricing – Frequently Asked Questions
Why are you changing your pricing structure?
Over time, different clients have ended up on different support package rates because we used to tie price increases to the date each client started their package. While this worked for a while, it’s led to some inconsistencies and occasional confusion. By moving everyone onto the same structure, we can make things simpler, clearer, and fairer for everyone.
When will the new prices take effect?
The new pricing will come into effect on 1 April, which lines up with the start of the financial year for many of our clients. This gives everyone plenty of time to plan ahead and budget appropriately.
Will prices keep going up every year?
We plan to make small, inflationary increases once a year. These will be communicated well in advance, so there are no surprises. This approach is more predictable and easier for everyone to plan around than occasional, irregular changes.
Why are price increases necessary?
Regular, modest price adjustments help us keep delivering the level of support you rely on. This includes security updates, proactive maintenance, investing in the right tools, and retaining a skilled team. We keep increases as low as we can, and we give plenty of notice so you can plan ahead.
What if I’m worried about how this affects my budget?
If you have any concerns, please get in touch with us. We’ll happily talk it through and help you find a sensible way forward. Our aim is to be transparent and fair, not to catch anyone off guard.
